Celestyal Cruises, the specialist in destination-centric cruising, today announced its new season in the Aegean.
Celestyal Nefeli will embark on the company’s classic Iconic Aegean itineraries on March 10th and then set sail on the company’s new Euphoric Itineraries (14 April – 30 June & 8 September – 27 October) and beloved Idyllic Itineraries (30 June – 1 September) . Celestyal Cruises’ new Euphoric itineraries are 3-, 4- and 7-day cruises to the classic, ancient cities and legendary harbors beloved of millions for millennia. These voyages are master classes in the Aegean, with calls at Cesme, Chania, Izmir, Lavrion, Mykonos, Nafplion, Rhodes and Santorini.
Celestyal Olympia will be replacing Celestyal Nefeli on the Iconic Itineraries as of April 14th.
The “heroes” of all of Celestyal’s incomparable cruises are the destinations themselves, including new mediterranean cruise destinations such as Samos on the Iconic itineraries and Chania (Crete) and Nafplion (Peloponnese) on the Euphoric itineraries – the company’s cozy ships and legendary personalized service play strong supporting roles. The addition of Samos gives passengers the option of either adding an extra Greek island to their cruise or disembarking in Kusadasi, Turkey, near Ancient Ephesus.

As for themed cruises, the company will host 44 this season. For the second consecutive year Celestyal Cruises proudly presents Celestyal Stories of Greek Hospitality. The company has revitalized its entire onboard cruise experience, and the 2017 themed cruise season, divided into two sections, will include:
- Stories of Greek Heritage: Culture and Enogastronomy (March-May 2017 & September-November 2017) – Lyceum Club of Greek Women, Greek Cuisine Demonstrations, Greek Olive Oil, Greek Wine
- Stories of Greek Summer Festival (June-August 2017) – Greek Music, Traditional Greek Music (with Thanasis Polykandriotis), Science Festival, Full Moon Party
