-Two suites of top Greek hotels are included in the elite list of accommodation recommendations around the world and therefore in Elite Traveler’s annual list of the 100 best hotel suites in the world for 2024.
In particular, the distinguished guide, which directs people with extremely high incomes to the rich mosaic of global luxury living, as the popular magazine says about the list of the 100 best hotel suites, includes two separate accommodation proposals with a Greek “stamp”. The Imperial Spa Villa, of Porto Zante Villa & Spa, in Zakynthos and the Two Bedroom Mandarin Pool Villa, of the Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino, in Pylos.
Stays at the Imperial Spa Villa, of Porto Zante Villa & Spa average $18,500, according to the publication.
“This small boutique hotel offers resort-level amenities in just nine villas,” says Elite Traveler. In its report on the hotel, the magazine highlights that, Porto Zante takes the privacy of its guests seriously.
“At 4,500 square metres, with spectacular sea views and two private pools, the Imperial Spa Villa has enough amenities and space for everyone to be happy behind closed doors. The suite’s outdoor dining area, overlooking the sunset in neighbouring Kefalonia, is as dreamy as it gets. However, most will be lured by the hotel’s private beach and the impressive Japanese restaurant Maya. The kids’ club is open all day and staffed by experienced educators,” the publication says.
For the Two Bedroom Mandarin Pool Villa, at the Mandarin Oriental, which opened this summer, marking the luxury brand’s first “arrival” in Greece, Elite Traveler notes that it is being developed over 3,000 sqm and accommodation is priced at $3,775.
As for the most expensive suite on the list, it is The Penthouse Suite, at The Post Oak Hotel, in Houston, United States, with accommodation priced at $125,000 per night.
The suite offers, among other amenities and services to its residents, a basketball court and 28 televisions.
The list of the 100 best hotel suites in the world is described as a “definitive index of the richest and most extraordinary accommodations on the planet” and promises a “journey of discovery”.
According to Elite Traveler, every suite in the database meets the minimum standard of five-star luxury, but the majority exceeds the threshold.
“Through detailed analysis, we’ve also made special mention of suites that meet strict standards for privacy, sustainability, fine dining and more,” the magazine says, among other things.
