Six distinctions Ermis Awards for the 2022-2023 Greek National Tourism Organization campaigns

The campaigns of the Hellenic Tourism Organisation for the years 2022-2023 swept the Ermis Awards, winning a total of six awards including two gold, three silver and one bronze!

The awards were presented at the Ermis Awards event, which is organized every year by the Association of Advertising & Communication Companies of Greece and is considered the most important institution for the promotion of creativity in the field of communication in Greece.

The two films of the Greek National Tourism Organization’s central campaign for the promotion of Greece abroad, “Greece. A life-changing experience” and “OTTO, Greece. You will want to stay forever”, were created for the Greek National Tourism Organization by Ogilvy and Foss Productions and won three awards.

Another three awards were given to the Agency’s co-advertising campaign with Aegean Airlines “Explore your Happy Place”.

Details of the awards received by the Greek National Tourism Organization are as follows:

  • The film “Greece.A Life Changing Experience” received the gold award in the category “Production of Commercial Films” and the bronze award in the category “Commercial Films”.
  • The film “OTTO, Greece. You will want to stay forever” received the silver award in the category “Promotional Films”.
  • The film co-promotional film of National Tourism Organization of Greece with Aegean Airlines, “Explore your Happy Place”, received a gold award in the category “Direct Marketing” and two silver awards in the categories “Promo & Activation” and “Brand Experience”.

It is worth noting that the National Tourism Organisation’s campaigns for the years 2022 and 2023 were warmly embraced by the general public, receiving enthusiastic comments both within and outside the borders.

The film “OTO,Greece. You will want to stay forever” is a narrative campaign that presents the story of a German who came to Greece on holiday, was enchanted by the country and its people and stayed here forever.

In the film “Greece.A life-changing experience” the red-haired protagonist finds the meaning of life in Greece and enjoys a life-changing experience.

National Tourism Organisation’s Secretary General Dimitris Fragakis said: “We are very proud of our new awards which add to last year’s award for Greekend, our City Break campaign.
