The well-known iconic hotel of Corfu, Messonghi Beach Holiday Resort, with a capacity of 910 rooms, has been acquired by the Mitsi Group, according to information from MONEY & TOURISM.
Located in Moraitika, Corfu, the hotel was built in 1968 by the Georgoulis family that played a leading role in Corfiot tourism, and was renovated in 2002.According to the same information, there have been lengthy negotiations which have been concluded recently and intensive work is already underway to link it directly to the group’s reservation systems. The price for the three-star hotel, which needs extensive renovation, according to information that cannot be cross-checked at the moment, amounted to approximately 100 million euros!

Messonghi Beach Holiday Resort is a magnificent resort right on the beach of Messonghi, 22km from Corfu Town, on the eastern coast of the island.
