Bookings for both flights and holiday packages at Jet2 Group for the summer of 2025 from its new base at Bournemouth Airport are at a high level, with Rhodes being among the top five destinations with the most bookings.

A month after announcing the sale of flights and holiday packages from Bournemouth, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have reported a “truly unprecedented” response, with individual travellers and tour operators alike making “mass” bookings for the coming summer season.

Impressive demand is being recorded for all 16 destinations across Europe, the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean for next summer, which went on sale on 26 March from Bournemouth in response to “multi-year demand”.

The top five destinations booked from Jet2’s new UK base are Antalya, Tenerife, Dalaman, Majorca and Rhodes, with strong sales recorded for all 16 destinations.

In their first summer of operation from Bournemouth, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate up to 27 weekly flights, including multiple weekly flights to popular destinations in the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Turkey and Greece, as well as to mainland Spain, Portugal and Madeira.

Commenting on the increased bookings, Steve Heapy, Managing Director of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said, “We know that customers and independent travel agents have been anxiously awaiting this move and the reaction to the launch reflects this. From day one and over the last four weeks, the response to our award-winning flights and holidays, which have gone on sale from Bournemouth Airport, has been truly phenomenal and we are thrilled. Since our launch a month ago we have seen an immediate increase in bookings from Bournemouth Airport and this demand shows no sign of slowing down.”
