HRADF: Six investment schemes in the second phase of the tender for the development of the Argostoli Marina

The Board of Directors of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), a member company of GROWTHFUND – The National Fund of Greece, during today’s meeting proceeded to the pre-selection of the interested investment parties that meet the criteria to participate in the second phase (submission of Binding Offers) of the tender for the concession of port operation services (berthing services and other services) and the right to use, operate, manage and develop Argostoli Marina.

In particular, the pre-selected investment schemes are the following (in alphabetical order):

  • Α1 YACHT TRADE CONSORTIUM S.A.
  • AKTOR CONCESSIONS S.A. – NAFPIGOPLASTIKI
  • D MARINAS HELLAS SINGLE MEMBER S.A.
  • LAMDA MARINAS INVESTMENTS S.M.S.A.
  • NOAM COHEN
  • TEKAL S.A.

The pre-selected investment schemes, after signing the relevant confidentiality agreements, will receive the documentation of the second phase of the tender and will gain access to the Virtual Data Room, where data and other information about the Argostoli Marina will be posted.

The duration of the concession is at least 35 years, while the Fund has the option to extend the duration of the concession for a maximum of 10 additional years.

The CEO of HRADF, Dimitris Politis, stated: “We are particularly pleased with the significant investment interest in the tender for the development of Argostoli Marina. It is a priority for us to successfully complete the second phase of the tender process as soon as possible, as the operation and development of this important port infrastructure will decisively enhance the tourist product of Kefalonia”.

The Marina is in the bay of Argostoli, on the southwest coast of the island of Kefalonia, approximately 11 km from the International Airport of Kefalonia “Anna Pollatos”. Its capacity is estimated at 174 berths with the land zone extending to approximately 46.000 square meters.

In the tender process HRADF has appointed the company “KANTOR BUSINESS CONSULTANTS HELLAS S.A.” as a financial advisor, the law firm “LEXPARTNERS Sfikakis & Associates Law Firm” as legal advisor and the companies “TRITON Consulting Engineers S.A.” and “ADK – ARONIS – DRETTAS – KARLAFTIS Consulting Engineers S.A.”, as technical advisors.
