This Easter, Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, the first Mandarin Oriental hotel in Greece, invites its guests to live a special experience where Greek traditions are seamlessly combined with the Group’s legendary hospitality, creating unforgettable memories.
Throughout Holy Week a special programme of activities awaits young and old alike, while the inventiveness of Executive Chef Bertrand Valegeas is reflected in the delicious fasting dishes at the Oliviera Restaurant. From unique Easter craft workshops on Holy Monday and a cooking decorating workshop at the Kids Club on Holy Wednesday, to a revival of the beloved Easter tradition of egg painting on Holy Thursday for the whole family and an exciting egg hunt on the coast on Good Friday, resort guests will create the most beautiful moments with the flavour of tradition. The decoration and procession of the Epitaph will take place on Good Friday at the Navarino Agora, while guests will prepare for the Resurrection by decorating their candle with elaborate designs in a special workshop.
On Holy Saturday, the Resurrection Service will take place at 22.00 at the Navarino Agora, while guests will have plenty of options for the Resurrection dinner at the Navarino Agora restaurants and at the Oliviera Restaurant, where cooking and traditional dishes will be served.
Marking the culmination of the festivities, on Easter Sunday the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino invites the guests of the resort and those in Messinia to become part of a great authentic celebration at the Ormos Beach Club. The roasting of the lamb will start early, while the meal will be complemented by delicious flavors unfolding the Greek gastronomic culture. The festive atmosphere will be enhanced by live music, while all those who choose to celebrate Easter Day with us will become one big company by joining the dances on the beach. At the same time, our little friends will be kept busy at the Kids Club, discovering special activities designed especially for them.
For younger fans, this season also marks the opening of the brand new Kids Club, Coral & Friends, where adventures full of fun and relaxation will give them the most powerful memories by the sea and inspired by Greek culture.
