This year’s award ceremony of the World Travel Awards (WTA), the Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2018, was held in Lisbon, and Greece and Greek hotels triumphed.
The WTAs have been running as an institution every year since 1993 and have been honoured by top representatives of the global tourism industry. WTAs are recognized globally as a quality symbol.
WTA gala ceremonies are widely regarded as the best networking opportunities in the travel industry, involving governmental and industrial leaders as well as international printed and broadcast media.
Greece managed to gain global recognition, which is a great success for both the country and the hotel facilities.
In particular, the hotel Aristi Mountain Resort & Villas Hotel gained global distinction as the best ecological accommodation, the HotelBrain Company stood out as the leading hotel management company for 2018, and the Mideast was distinguished as “WORLD’S Leading Destination Management Company 2018”.

The Hotel Brain
Hotel Brain is one of the winners, and was also awarded as World’s Leading Hotel Management Company 2018.

The Mideast
For the first time in its history, Mideast receives the title “WORLD’S Leading Destination Management Company 2018” from the World Travel Awards.
Mideast managed to stand out and get the first place in its category through a public vote.
