According to Panaverd, there is an analysis of data on the US market, which tends to have a lot of interested travellers for the Greek market. Tourism relies on American travelers while executing successful marketing strategies. Panadvert’s latest research reveals a significant increase in the demand of Americans for holidays in Greece over the last 2 years, with Santorini undoubtedly holding the first place in absolute numbers in the preference of American travelers. Rounding out the top five are Mykonos, Athens, Ios and Paros, destinations that, according to the analysis, appear to be preferred by about 75% of American tourists. Also of interest in the survey is that not all destinations show an upward trend this year, with Mykonos and Santorini showing a drop in demand for 2024 to date.

In addition, their travel habits, such as when they look for accommodation and which dates they are most interested in, were examined in detail, highlighting strong seasonal trends, with the summer months dominating, while of interest is the strong demand observed for bookings even for September, especially in Santorini.
